COURSE DESCRIPTION
This Course deals with the foundational and essential use of skills in communicating with English as the medium of Communication.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon Completion of this course, students should be able to:
Read and analyze college-level text

Write academic prose with a clear purpose and effective, logical, relevant                         support from sources.

Practice and master the English Language to communicate effectively in business situation                                                 and with the other people

GRADING SYSTEM:
Class Standing 15% (5 group activity and participation: 3 points each)
Quizzes/Assignment 15% (5 quizzes: 3 points each)
Projects 30% (Memorandum Circular 10%, Curriculum Vitae 10%, Interview 10%)
Examination 40% ( Midterms 20%, Finals 20%)
